Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology or Chemistry required.
• State of Florida Supervisor's License in at least 3 areas: Blood Bank/Immunohematology - Chemistry - Hematology - Histology - Microbiology - Serology/Immunology - required.
• Three plus years of supervisory level experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24-hour operations and activities of the clinical laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Provides direction to department personnel to achieve operational and technical objectives including workflow design, service quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and work environment.
