• Laboratory experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipunctures and specimen collection per policy.
• Accept, manage add-on orders and pending lists.
• Identify patients and specimens with two identifiers.
• Register and log specimens in LIS and ensure data integrity.
• Process specimens and ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Assist in resolving problematic specimens with staff and clients.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and support efficient workflows.
• Operate laboratory information systems to support data entry.
• Contribute to general lab operations by restocking and committee involvement.
