Job summary

Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare high-quality, nutritious meals while following safety regulations and ensuring patient-centered care through safe handling and consistent service.

The role focuses on production, accuracy, and collaboration with culinary and clinical teams, with shifts by days and evenings and onsite responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of food service experience in large-volume or batch cooking environments.
• Preferred: Associate degree or formal culinary training, ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food items according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Scale recipes accurately while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Comply with local, state, and federal food safety regulations and complete required documentation.
• Complete temperature logs and safety checks for patient safety.
• Maintain production and storage areas in inspection-ready condition.
• Use the Food Service Management system daily for tracking and workflow support.
• Assist with catering, menu development, and implementation as needed.
• Monitor food waste and support waste-reduction initiatives.
