Massachusetts-Detox-Centers in Wilmington, MA seeks a Dishwasher Prep to assist with meal preparation and sanitation under the Executive Chef. You will help with storage, cleaning, and safe handling of kitchen areas, ensuring proper use of cleaning agents and waste disposal.

This is a full-time, weekend-required position requiring a high school diploma or GED; SERVSafe preferred; OSHA knowledge; entry-level with commercial kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• Entry level position; commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• SERVSafe Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist with meal and food preparation as assigned by the Executive Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining room, and storage areas.
• Correctly use approved cleaning agents in all areas.
• Remove trash and refuse from kitchen, dining room and storage areas.
• Plan and prepare meals and place food orders.
• Serve meals to patients in a polite and respectful manner.
• Inventory food service items and supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment including grill, fryer, ovens, and other prep tools.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary at all times.
• Report safety issues and faulty equipment to management.
