Job summary

dnata Catering in Everett, MA is seeking a Pot Washer to support a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will wash and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils by hand, following HACCP guidelines and established procedures to ensure hygienic operations.

Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and helping with general cleaning. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and flexibility for various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred with 1 year pot washing and cleaning experience.
• Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire).
• Excellent attention to detail and self-organized

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in approved, proper storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Sweep, mop, and deck brush floors.
• Clean garbage cans weekly with soap and water.
• Sort and remove trash and place it in the dumpster at the end of every shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.
• Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by management.
