Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a Warehouse Clerk for hospital food service in Clovis, CA. You will help ensure the kitchen has fresh ingredients, supplies, and organization to support patient meals.

Responsibilities include food preparation support, inventory handling, safety compliance, and collaboration with cooks and leadership to keep daily production running smoothly. The role is full-time with morning shifts and requires a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures (receiving, stocking, shipping).
• Ability to perform basic math and work with units of measure.
• Valid Driver’s License and ServSafe® or State Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, label, and organize ingredients for daily meal production.
• Assist cooks and culinary team members with food preparation and kitchen production.
• Follow recipes, standardized production procedures, and portion guidelines.
• Help ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready when needed.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, sanitation, and safety.
• Receive, unload, and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Properly store food using FIFO practices.
• Maintain clean, organized coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
