PACS Group is seeking an experienced cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. You will prepare tasteful meals, follow menus, and portion controls for residents in a hospital or long-term care setting.

You will handle special diets, record temperatures, prepare pureed foods, supervise dietary staff when needed, and ensure sanitation and safety standards with ServSafe certification preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook in a hospital or long-term care facility for at least 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Prepare meals in large quantities and follow menus.
• Follow prepared menus and portion control guides.
• Prepare special diets accurately.
• Record food temperatures and prepare pureed foods.
• Assist with serving meals and supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
