Qualifications

• Food handler permit OR ServSafe Certificate required within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to read recipe, follow recipe directions, read thermometers and compute measurements.
• 3 years cooking in a healthcare facility, school, hotel catering or restaurant.
• Ability to operate slicer, oven, fryer, grill, etc
• Read and follow production sheets

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen in absence of Chef.
• Produce meals for patients, retail cafeteria, Meals on Wheels, and special functions.
• Maintain high quality and food safety standards.
• Maintain professional attitude toward patients, guests, and staff.
