Job summary

Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley, Idaho is seeking a PRN cook to perform a variety of food production duties under supervision. The role covers multiple positions during training, with 30-36 hours/week during the first 60 days, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (required only in Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes/instructions.
• May prepare bulk food items and large-scale production; line cook tasks and assembly of meals.
• Serves customers and completes other duties as assigned.
• Maintains an organized and sanitary working environment.
