Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work
• 1+ year experience as a cook in healthcare or restaurant environment preferred
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
• Uses safe food handling techniques across applications
• Understands workflow, prioritizes, meets deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills preferred
• Familiar with preparing food for modified diets where applicable

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food and serves customers.
• Follows recipes and instructions for food items.
• May prepare bulk items or catered meals and ensure proper rotation.
• Maintains organized and sanitary workspace.
• Interacts with customers in catering, retail, or patient care settings.
• May deliver patient meals, cashier, stock, and operate ware-washing equipment
