Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker at Advocate Christ Medical Center – Food and Nutrition in Illinois. The role operates 11am–7:30pm, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

ServSafe certification is required within 1 year, and a high school diploma is necessary. Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing meals, portion control, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification within 1 year.
• Typically 3 years of food production experience.
• Familiarity with diet restrictions and ability to adapt recipes.
• Proficient time management and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Review production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity.
• Prepare food daily per production report and guidelines.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Measure and mix ingredients as needed per recipe.
• Operate kitchen equipment to prepare diverse dishes.
• Ensure safe food handling and rotate inventories.
• Assist with portioning to control waste and cost.
• Provide care appropriate to patient age and needs where applicable.
