Job summary

CaroMont Health is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform installs, repairs and preventive maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers and related equipment across the hospital campus.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, order parts, and support building automation and energy management projects while ensuring safe, compliant operations. On-call and weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Performs installs, repairs and maintenance to HVAC equipment across the hospital.
• Reads mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics for service work.
• Maintains and troubleshoots refrigerant, heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC equipment.
• Audit preventive maintenance work orders for effectiveness and plan upgrades.
• Read blueprints and schematics; order parts as needed.
• Assist in training and support for new staff; ensure safe, compliant operations.
