Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to maintain and operate hospital heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems at the Pocono campus. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operations and coordinating essential shutdowns with the Facilities team.

Qualifications

• HVAC certifications: EPA Type I/II/III and PA Refrigeration Certification.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial or institutional HVAC maintenance experience.
• Advanced HVAC knowledge; able to troubleshoot & repair with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate and maintain hospital HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Guide the capital replacement process to ensure up-to-date HVAC equipment.
• Adjust space temperatures to maintain proper environment.
• Con duct HVAC flow and temperature analysis.
• Coordinate shutdowns with Facilities Director/Manager and affected departments.
• Supervise and maintain daily operation of all HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and adjustments to pneumatic control systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal codes and hospital policies.
