Beacon Health System seeks an HVAC Mechanic for Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. The role reports to the Manager, Facilities Services and covers preventive maintenance, repair, and monitoring of HVAC and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in large facilities, HVAC skills, and familiarity with energy management controls. Opportunities include development, training, and a collaborative work environment.

Qualificações

• Certified Fuel Cell (CFC) technician certification or within 1–2 years of hire.
• Strong computer skills to manage energy management control systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with hospital staff and leadership.
• 3–5 years of related on-the-job experience in large commercial/institutional buildings.

Responsabilidades

• Install, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, pneumatic, and building automation systems.
• Respond to service requests across the hospital and perform corrective maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and performance evaluations.
• Operate and monitor energy management systems and critical facility equipment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors on expansion/renovation projects.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and materials.
