Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee HVAC maintenance and facilities projects across the hospital campus. You will lead a team of engineers and contractors, review plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, project oversight, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations across a large healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in healthcare facilities HVAC maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, building controls, electricity, and safety codes (NFPA Life Safety).

Responsibilities

• Administers and oversees the work of assigned Engineering staff, architects, engineers, and contractors to meet service requirements.
• Reviews construction plans and specifications; oversees capital outlay and major repair projects.
• Ensures safety compliance, manages budget and scheduling, and inspects sites for quality and safety.
