Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an HVAC Generalist to maintain and repair hospital comfort systems across the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital campus. You will perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily system tours, and ensure reliable operation of HVAC, medical air and vacuum systems.

Qualifications

• HVAC Generalist role in hospital or healthcare facilities preferred.
• Must read/write English and communicate with staff, vendors, patients, and visitors.
• Experience with BAS and electronic work orders is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment through preventative maintenance and routine inspection.
• Perform daily tours to monitor system status.
• Complete weekly/bi-weekly tasks and adhere to monthly/quarterly/annual cycles.
• Repair equipment and prevent failures through proactive maintenance.
• Familiarize with valve/shutdown procedures and system controls.
• Keep a clean, log daily trouble calls and document repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and fire drills; support safety procedures.
• Report to the Director of Facilities and coordinate with the facilities team.
