Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an HVAC Services Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across hospital and university facilities. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, respond to service calls, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance to support patient care.

This on-site role requires EPA Universal Certification, high school diploma, and at least three years of related experience, with refrigerant/CFC certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in HVAC or related trades.
• Technical training or certifications in HVAC/building systems preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required; Refrigerant/CFC certification preferred; knowledge of codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
• Perform scheduled servicing.
• Ensure compliance with building, fire, and regulatory codes.
• Install new equipment and integrate systems while documenting work.
• Assess facilities for safety risks and report hazards.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend shifts.
• Follow EPA and other regulatory guidelines; prevent unauthorized gas leaks.
• Be considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.
• Perform related duties as required.
