Two levels exist with different experience requirements; Level II requires 1 year custodial experience, Level I requires no prior experience. Valid driver’s license is required for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Level II: One year experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level I: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Griffin Memorial Hospital facilities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal.
• Handles basic cleaning tasks in a 24-hour, 120-bed inpatient setting.
• Training provided for more advanced duties, including disposal of hazardous materials.
