Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping team member to clean, sanitize, and maintain patient care areas, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment. You will perform rounds to collect waste and reusable items, and handle reprocessing of equipment while safely transporting hazardous chemicals to storage.

The role features an 8:00am-4:30pm shift with rotating weekends and holidays, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork within a leading regional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is welcome but not required.
• Attention to sanitary cleaning standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
• Make rounds to collect soiled and infectious waste and handle reusable patient care items.
• Transport and manage hazardous chemicals to designated storage areas and assist with equipment reprocessing.
