Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend basic English.
• 3+ months cleaning experience in healthcare preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals safely.
• Able to perform repetitive motions (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting).

Responsibilities

• Receive cleaning assignments and prepare materials and supplies.
• Clean assigned areas using germicidal solutions and cleaning equipment.
• Strip, make beds with fresh linens, and dispose of waste.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and arrange furniture after cleaning.
• Perform routine maintenance on sanitation equipment and report repairs.
• Visually inspect areas to ensure cleanliness and neatness.
• Return unused supplies to the utility room.
• Perform heavy-duty cleaning of floors and carpets as needed.
• Disinfect walls, windows, and doors and remove stains.
• Move furniture and equipment safely as required.
