Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a Supervising Environmental Services professional for the Evening Shift. You will oversee cleaning and sanitizing teams, ensuring adherence to safety rules and hospital standards.

You will organize schedules, provide training, and monitor quality to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating housekeeping or similar teams.
• Ability to train, evaluate and discipline staff when needed.
• Ability to create and adjust work schedules.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards for hospital facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of cleaning and sanitizing staff.
• Observes work and ensures instructions and safety rules are followed.
• Develops departmental policies, procedures and budgets input.
• Trains, evaluates, and if needed disciplines assigned staff.
• Prepares schedules to provide adequate coverage and reassigns as needed.
• Monitors work quality via inspections to ensure standards.
