Mass General Brigham is seeking an evening shift janitorial assistant to maintain cleanliness and safety at The Brigham and Women's Hospital, on site at 15 Francis Street. The role involves handling routine cleaning tasks within a hospital environment and supporting event setup.

Multiple duties include cleaning floors, dusting, restroom sanitation, and reporting maintenance needs. Experience with hospital cleaning routines and strong teamwork are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience using hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals (2–3 years).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip and polish floors; vacuum carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, sills and glass.
• Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish supplies as needed.
• Set up tables, chairs and equipment for events and activities.
• Identify and report building maintenance needs.
