Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management experience.
• Associate's Degree required, bachelor's preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit management and volunteer engagement.
• Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Well organized, self-motivated.
• Ability to set priorities, problem solve and motivate others.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gift shop operations to include customer service, merchandise selection, sales, display and inventory management.
• Utilize the POS system to price and pull reports.
• Strengthen and grow volunteer programs and services that meet hospital and community needs.
• Develop strategies for volunteer recruitment, recognition, fundraising and program initiatives.
• Represent the volunteer organization within the community.
• Perform all work in accord with the mission, vision and values of Doctors Hospital.
