Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail management experience
• Associate's Degree required, bachelor's preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of nonprofit management and volunteer engagement
• Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
• Well organized, self-motivated
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee gift shop operations including customer service, merchandise selection, sales, display and inventory management.
• Utilize the POS system to price items and pull reports.
• Strengthen and grow volunteer programs and services that meet hospital and community needs.
• Develop strategies for volunteer recruitment, recognition, fundraising and program initiatives.
• Represent the volunteer organization within the community.
