Job summary

Cloverkey is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to lead one hospital gift shop and support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will provide leadership, deliver outstanding service, and help ensure an exceptional experience for patients, families, visitors, and hospital staff.

As a valued leader, you will step in during shifts, oversee cash handling, and collaborate on merchandising, training, and team performance while upholding hospital onboarding requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer and POS system experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the gift shop and lead assigned shifts.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with purchases.
• Drive sales through merchandising, promotions, and team performance.
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hospital requirements, and standards.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, and merchandising.
• Process sales transactions and supervise cash handling.
• Perform opening and closing duties and secure the store.
• In the Store Manager's absence, oversee operations and staffing.
