Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indianapolis is seeking a PRN Gift Shop Cashier to support four downtown locations, including Riley, University, and Methodist Hospitals. This weekend position offers weekday evening options and helps fund patient programming.

You will operate a cash register, handle sales, maintain displays, and deliver friendly customer service while counting tills and stocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Requires good math and reading skills.
• Requires ability to carry stock items from store room to sales area.
• Requires good customer service skills.
• Requires ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Requires bending; and the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Requires ability to give directions and general information to visitors; as requested.
• Requires ability to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs.

• Operates and maintains a cash register.

• Maintains good customer relations while providing quick and accurate service.
• Maintains adequate merchandise on display for sale.
