Job summary

IU Health is seeking a PRN Gift Shop Associate for its downtown locations (Riley, University, Methodist Hospitals). This weekend position with weekday evening options offers up to 24 hours per week to support patient programming and fundraising through the Riley Cheer Guild.

The role involves operating and maintaining a cash register, accepting and recording money for sales, and maintaining good customer relations while providing quick and accurate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Requires good math and reading skills.
• Requires ability to carry stock items from store room to sales area.
• Requires good customer service skills.
• Requires ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Requires bending; and the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Requires ability to give directions and general information to visitors; as requested.
• Requires ability to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities
