Allied Universal in Dublin, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Reception to greet patients and visitors at the front desk, enforce access control, and support badge processes within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in security-related roles.
• Vaccination requirements for hospital work.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.
• License requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at the front desk and verify access per site policies.
• Maintain professional, welcoming security presence and perform site-specific procedures.
• Monitor visitor sign-in, issue temporary credentials, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation and communicate with healthcare staff.
