Job summary

AtlantiCare Rehabilitation Hospital - In partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Hospital Receptionist in Galloway, NJ. This per diem role handles front-desk tasks, greets visitors, answers calls, and assists admissions during peak times.

You will screen visitors for security, postmark and route mail, log applications, coordinate tours, and notify staff as needed. A high level of customer service and reliability is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen visitors to the appropriate location and ensure security.
• Postmark and distribute outgoing mail; receive incoming mail.
• Log all incoming job applications.
• Provide daily coverage for the admissions coordinator during breaks.
• Connect and transfer calls; perform overhead paging.
• Notify admissions when a facility tour is requested.
• Obtain wheelchairs for patients.
• Report any unusual behavior in lobby/parking to facilities.
• Assist with gifts delivery to patients in a timely manner.
• Assist admissions tasks during shifts.
