Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal, oral and written communication to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Self-directed, organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manages all daily operations of the department and the food program, coordinating food prep for patient trays and distribution of food and supplies.
• Directs menu development for therapeutic quality and cost effectiveness; creates retail menu cycles and adjusts choices as needed.
• Develops training materials and conducts staff education; orients and trains employees in food prep, serving, HACCP, and related duties.
• Manages outside vendor contracts, negotiates terms, and ensures quality and contract compliance.
• Generates reports, analyzes data, and implements action plans to improve department performance.
