Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Storeroom Clerk in Kishwaukee hospital to receive, stock, organize, and distribute food and supply inventory supporting hospital meal services. You will unload deliveries, rotate stock, and store products in walk-in coolers/freezers, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires lifting and moving heavy items in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• One-year customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take Room Service orders including employee/patient/family-initiated orders.
• Complete tray assembly.
• Ensure food meets safety and sanitary regulations and complete required documentation.
• Data entry using Microsoft Excel.
• Basic cash handling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, neat and orderly cooking area.
• Adhere to department policies and programs; ensure quality and service with problem resolution as needed.
• Complete daily position checklists, cleaning duties and required documentation.
