Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Food Service Associate to support patient meals and overall food service. You will set up stations, prepare and serve meals, and ensure sanitary handling in line with policies.

The role involves cross-training across tray line, storeroom, and kitchen areas, maintaining stock, recording usage, and delivering consistent, nourishing meals to patients from infancy to late adulthood.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months’ experience in food service preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff following Jefferson values.
• Set up and stock stations before meals to ensure efficient service.
• Retrieve patient meal trays to ensure sanitary, timely service.
• Maintain floor stock and record usage.
• Follow sanitary guidelines in handling food and safety procedures.
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages and baked goods as needed.
• Store leftovers properly and plan next day/menu usage.
• Cross-train across tray line, storeroom, and food prep areas.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
