• 6+ months experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Sets up and stocks station prior to service and for next meal.
• Retrieves patient meal trays to ensure sanitary and timely service.
• Maintains floor stock per par levels and records usage.
• Handles food according to sanitary and safety guidelines.
• Prepares or serves beverages and prepared foods.
• Packages, labels, and dates hot foods per guidelines.
• Cross-trains to tray line, storeroom, and prep areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas.
• Completes daily cleaning and other duties as assigned.
