Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Associate to deliver patient meals and support the food service operations. The role requires assisting with tray assembly, beverage service, and maintaining sanitary food handling across shifts.

Responsibilities include stocking stations, retrieving trays, following recipes, and cross-training in various food service areas to ensure timely, safe, and cost-conscious meals for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months’ previous experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff.
• Set up and stock stations before service.
• May retrieve patient meal trays to ensure timely service.
• Prepare and serve beverages and breakfast items as needed.
• Store leftovers safely and adhere to cook-chill guidelines.
• Cross-train across tray line, storeroom and food prep areas.
