Job summary

Sanford Health Med Ctr Fargo is seeking a Food Service Assistant to monitor temperatures, set up and maintain a clean serving area, and prepare/serve meals. You will handle payments using a computerized register and maintain HACCP compliant practices.

The role is part-time with a 20-hour workweek. Candidates should be at least 16 years old, have customer service experience, basic math, and good reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures.
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items and restock areas.
• Operate cash registers and process payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate with patrons and co-workers.
• Work independently when necessary and follow food safety protocols.
