Catholic Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition Services to lead the department across hospital operations. You will ensure high-quality, compliant food service in a sanitary environment while meeting regulatory standards.

You will oversee production, staff training, and budgeting, while driving improvements in patient and non-patient dining experiences and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in managing food or hospitality services.
• Knowledge of hospital and healthcare operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and healthcare financial metrics preferred.
• RD or LD, CDM preferred (certifications) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluates existing systems and processes and initiates change and improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC).
• Directs food production, standardizes recipes and production sheets; checks food quality.
• Oversees daily operations of Food and Nutrition Services across patient and non-patient areas.
• Prepares or directs department records and budgets; analyzes costs and utilization.
• Ensures staff development, training, competency assessment and performance reviews.
• Leads coaching and mentoring to increase capabilities and drive engagement.
• Manages staff performance and adherence to safety and departmental policies.
• Oversees procurement of supplies, equipment and other needs; manages department budget.
• Monitors vendor contracts and health-system purchasing.
