Job summary

Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Taylorsville Environmental Services team is hiring a Floor Care Tech to keep floors and spaces sanitary and safe in compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA standards. This full-time role (40 hrs/wk) runs Sunday through Thursday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, with a 10% swing shift differential.

Prior floor care experience is a plus. You will strip, buff, scrub, vacuum, and maintain both hard and carpeted floors, operate equipment safely, and perform general

• Demonstrated communication skills with color-coded labels and/or chemicals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet department needs.
• Professional floor care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard surface floors by stripping, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing.
• Maintain carpeted floors by vacuuming, extracting, and spot removal.
• Use cleaning and floor chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment per procedures.
• Report problems with equipment and facility in a timely manner.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
