Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate for the Swing Shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). The role involves cleaning and disinfection to meet Joint Commission standards within a hospital environment.

Experience preferred in hospital cleaning; must stand for 8 hours, bend and lift as needed, and work weekends/holidays. Will join a dedicated team and receive a comprehensive benefits package with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills to include following written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Disposes of infectious waste and trash per guidelines.
• Handles and cleans up emergency spills.
• Follows infection prevention practices (hand hygiene, PPE).
• Maintains work and storage areas following policy and procedures.
