Job summary

Intermountain Health Layton Hospital is seeking a part-time Floor Care Tech to perform floor care and general housekeeping in the EVS Department. The role runs Sunday to Wednesday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with some holidays, and includes benefits and shift differentials for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include maintaining hard and carpeted floors, using proper cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards, and operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability to follow written/verbal directions.
• Flexible schedule to meet department needs.
• Floor care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hard surface floors by stripping, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing.
• Maintains carpeted floors by vacuuming and extracting and spot removal.
• Uses cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Operates and maintains assigned cleaning equipment.
• Reports equipment and facility issues promptly.
• Performs general housekeeping as assigned.
