Job summary

Intermountain Health Layton Hospital is seeking a Floor Care Tech to perform floor maintenance and general housekeeping in the EVS department. The role supports hospital clean standards and Joint Commission requirements, with a Sunday–Wednesday swing shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) and part-time schedule (32 hrs/wk).

Benefits eligible and pay rate commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include floor maintenance (stripping, buffing, scrubbing), carpet care, proper use of chemicals per standards,

Qualifications

• Experience in hard surface floor maintenance (stripping/buffing/finishing).
• Carpet care including vacuuming and extraction.
• Ability to follow Joint Commission/OSHA standards and use cleaning products appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard surface floors per procedures (strip/buff/refinish).
• Maintain carpeted floors by vacuuming and spot removal.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment per procedures and report issues promptly.

Job Description:Every Sunday - Wednesday (swing shift; 3pm - 11:30pm)The Floor Care Tech performs floor care tasks according to detailed instruction and maintains the facility in a sanitary, safe, clean, and attractive environment to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.
