Job summary

Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital is seeking a Facility Services Manager to lead the off-campus facilities operations, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and safety systems. You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance under the Facility Service Director's guidance.

Responsibilities include training, budgeting support, and maintaining building conditions. Strong leadership and decision-making are required to handle emergencies and ensure smooth daily

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of one year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff on-the-job training and orientation for Facility Services staff.
• Maintain records for QA, Joint Commission accreditation, OSHA, or as required by law.
• Communicate with staff and report feedback to the Facility Service Director.
• Assume routine daily management in the absence of leadership.
• Participate in staff assignments to maintain department efficiency.
• Coordinate scheduling to maximize department efficiency.
• Assist in budget planning and department growth initiatives.
• Maintain building and grounds to meet safety codes and regulations.
