Job summary

Avera Creighton Hospital is seeking a Facility Services Manager to supervise all staff in the Facilities Services Department, coordinating operations, schedules, and emergency decisions. This role oversees physical plant operations, electrical and mechanical services, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, valid drivers license, at least one year of related experience, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff on-the-job training with other Facility Services managers.
• Maintain records for QA, Joint Commission, OSHA guidance as required by law.
• Communicate with staff and report feedback to the Facility Services Director.
• Assume routine daily management in the absence of leadership.
• Schedule staffing to maximize department efficiency.
• Assist leadership in budgeting and capital equipment planning.
• Ensure buildings and grounds meet safety codes and regulations.
• Hire, train, and develop Facility Services staff.
