Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking a Facility Management Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Facility Management department. You'll collaborate with the Director to schedule maintenance, manage projects, and coordinate with staff and contractors to ensure safe, compliant facility operations.

Responsibilities include leading a team, maintaining asset inventories, and ensuring adherence to Life Safety and environmental regulations. A CHFM is preferred and HICS training is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1 year of Facility Management experience in an acute care setting is required.
• CHFM certification is preferred.
• HICS training is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Facility Management department.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and projects with staff and contractors.
• Maintain inventory of infrastructure assets, maintenance tools and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety standards and codes.
• Lead and develop direct reports, including hiring, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Support regulatory compliance regarding Environment of Care and Life Safety.
