Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Mechanic to keep our cardiac and surgical facilities in top condition. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance, with on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps, and domestic water systems.
• Familiar with mechanical repair and general building maintenance techniques.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required; clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Completes job assignments in a timely manner.
• Performs mechanical jobs (appliance, bed, pump repair).
• Performs electrical jobs (lighting, outlets, system troubleshooting).
• Performs general building maintenance (doors, ceilings, painting).
• Performs plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains).
• Performs preventive maintenance (greases motors, checks safety).
• Documents work performed and reports issues to Plant Operations.
