Job summary

Medical City Lewisville, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance, plumbing fixture work, electrical power equipment service, and generator operation to support patient-care environments.

The role requires a Graduate of a commercial technical school or equivalent experience, Texas licenses, and at least 3 years in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or Boiler Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a commercial technical school or comparable experience.
• Must hold one of Texas issued licenses (HVAC, Journeyman Electrician, Plumbing, Boiler, Plant Operator) or 10 years related experience substituted.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or Boiler Plant Operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Repair and install plumbing fixtures and inspect/test electrical power equipment.
• Run and maintain emergency power generator to ensure proper operation.
• Perform general maintenance duties in and around hospital buildings.
