Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our campus facilities operating safely and efficiently to support patient care. You will respond to emergencies and routine maintenance, document issues, and coordinate with staff and vendors.

The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and ability to read and write in English. Prior hospital experience is preferred, and candidates must follow I CARE standards and use

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two years maintenance mechanic experience required; hospital setting preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English and communicate effectively with staff, vendors, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and routine maintenance calls with priority on safety and timely action.
• Repair mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment, including carts, dish machines, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform plumbing and structural repairs within state codes and assist in building repairs.
• Complete at least 80% of work orders within 60 days per policy.
