Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Manager Facilities Management to assist the department Director with daily operations and maintenance. The role requires coordinating with physicians, nurses, and vendors to uphold professional relationships and a positive department image.
The Manager will monitor costs of supplies and equipment, ensure asset control, and lead a team in delivering reliable facility services across the hospital environment.

The Manager Facilities will assist the department Director in the performance of departmental operations and maintenance function. The Manager must possess unique skills which foster cooperative working relationships, promote positive working relationships, and promote a positive image of the department to outside personnel. Other required skills include good verbal/written communication skills, capability to be able to deal with physicians, nurses, other hospital personnel, contractors, and vendors in a professional manner always; and the ability to have effective working relationships with other hospital departments, partners, contractors, and vendors. The Manager will also need to have an awareness of cost of supplies and equipment used as well as control of hospital assets.
Education: Completion of High School or the equivalent preferred (Certificate or diploma from a trade school)
Experience: 4+ years of skilled experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, to include electrical, air conditioning and plumbing training, in a hospital, hotel or manufacturing plant
