Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Manager Facilities Management to support the department Director in operations and maintenance and to foster positive working relationships with physicians, nurses, contractors, and vendors. The role emphasizes asset control and cost awareness within a major Augusta hospital.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in healthcare or related industries and strong verbal/written communication

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• 4+ years of skilled maintenance experience in hospital, hotel, or manufacturing.
• Experience interacting with physicians, nurses, contractors and vendors in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department Director in the performance of departmental operations and maintenance functions.
• Foster cooperative working relationships and promote a positive image of the department to outside personnel.
• Promote effective working relationships with other hospital departments, partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain awareness of costs of supplies and equipment and control hospital assets.
