Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Davenport, IA. The role covers a first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a wage of $22–$25 per hour.

You’ll perform maintenance tasks across hospital facilities and coordinate with vendors to keep critical systems running. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license; experience with Building Automation Systems and work order software

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related maintenance/technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment sets and replace plumbing fixtures; rodding drains and pipes; identify and stop leaks; rebuild flush valves.
• Supervise and adjust building automation systems for patient/staff comfort.
• Test and inspect generators; replace light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles; address building issues.
• Use drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs.
• Coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC, and related systems.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections as per maintenance program.
