Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System on a wooded campus in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to install, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems. You will inspect sprinkler, lighting and wiring and care for hospital grounds as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires a high school diploma and trade school preferred, with 2 years in related maintenance. A valid driver's license is required; electrical/plumbing licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; trade school preferred.
• Two years' experience in carpentry, building, equipment and utility maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; Electrical or Plumbing license preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance, power and hand tools, HVAC, electrical and plumbing repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, concrete, brick and block work, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Conduct routine inspection of sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, emergency lighting and wiring.
• Provide general care and maintenance to hospital grounds.
